Detoxifying has become the new trend. It is the easiest way of making your body healthy. Not much hard work is needed and with almost no extra time, you will be on your journey to a healthier version of yourself. Staying hydrated by having at least 8 glasses of water is always advised. It helps in flushing out toxins from the body, keeps you hydrated which in turn makes you look youthful. Water has many benefits but people often complain that they do not like the taste of water or they get ‘bored’ with its taste easily and that becomes the reason for shifting to other drinks like juice or carbonated drinks.

As a solution, came Detox Water. In this fresh fruits, vegetable and herbs are added to the water. It not only adds to the taste but also adds to benefits of the water. There is no fixed way of making Detox Water. Any combination of fruits, vegetable and herbs can be used as per the liking.

Here we have the simplest form of Detox Water Recipe that you can use to make your life healthy in the simplest way. It is called Gingerly Detox Water. Below are the ingredients needed and their health benefits, too.

Ingredients

  • 1 liter purified water
  • Half sliced lemon
  • Sliced Ginger, as per taste
  • 1 cup cucumber (Sliced and lightly crushed)
  • Handful mint leaves

Water – It keeps the skin hydrated, makes hair shiny, boosts digestion and does so much more. If you want to know how much water you should drink in a day, here is your answer.

Lemon – Lemon is a rich source of Vitamin C and has antibacterial and antiviral properties. It boosts digestion process. It is extremely beneficial for skin problems as well.

Ginger – Ginger can be helpful in dealing with nausea, muscle pain and indigestion. It had magical medicinal properties. Recent studies have proved that ginger is also beneficial in lowering Blood Glucose levels.

Cucumber – It has high quantities of needed Vitamins and Minerals. It has 96% water which helps you in staying hydrated and also has antioxidant properties. It can be helpful in weight loss as well.

Mint leaves – Mint can be helpful in dealing with allergies and cold. Digestion can be improved with mint. When applied to the skin it can give cooling sensation which can help you relax.

Method of making Gingerly Detox Water

Step 1: Mix all the ingredients in a large pitcher.

Step 2: Add ice cubes or refrigerate it for at least 2 hours before drinking.

Step 3: Sip the healthy goodness whenever you feel thirsty.

 

Caution

Consume it within 24 hours before the ingredients turn soggy and the citrus gives off a strong taste.
